China Earthquake

A massive earthquake hit China  destroying everything in it site from buildings to school and to plants. The earthquake hit in central china city of Chengdu. The earthquake was the worst quake in over three decades. The Earthquake was so strong it could be felt as far away as Vietnam. The rain is making it hard to find more survivors and the 8533 people dead is expected to go up.

“The official Xinhua News Agency said 8,533 people died in Sichuan province and more than 200 others were killed in three other provinces and the mega-city of Chongqing.”

“Xinhua said 80 percent of the buildings had collapsed in Sichuan province’s Beichuan county after the quake, raising fears the overall death toll could increase sharply”

“State media said a chemical plant in Shifang city had cratered, burying hundreds of people and spilling more than 80 tons of toxic liquid ammonia from the site.”

Yes by taking steps to be more safe and not have horrible things happen, but theres nothing we can do now we just got to learn from what happened and hopefully prevent it from happening again

Gas Prices Rise to New National Record

The cost of filling up your car rised to a record high Tuesday. Adding to the  consumers that were already  face with falling home values and rising food prices. Gas prices at the pump rose over the night to a record nation wide average of $3.2272 a gallon.  Some analysts expect prices to moderate, while others predict oil could keep rising to $120 a barrel, or higher.  With demand for gas expected to rise as warm weather arrives, analysts say pump prices will likely spike as high as $3.50 to $3.75 a gallon. On the other hand New Jersey has one of two lowest gas prices.

Paul McCartney has reached a deal with Apple

Paul McCartney has reached a deal finally with Apple to offer the Beatles catalog on the iTunes Store. Thisdeal, is approximately worth four hundred million,  which comes after months and months of speculation. While McCartney will be keeping much of the money, there will be  several other parties stand to benefit from the deal. It is being reported that portions of the sum will be going to families of the deceased members of the Beatles, Ringo Starr, Sony, EMI, and the former owner of the catalog, Michael Jackson.

Giants Semi win

I give the giants credit for win.  How they won was “gettin after it” and hustling Tom Brady and kocking him down i might add i was happy to see that since i Hate Tom Brady. People can no longer talk paytons lil brother It Eli Manning the super bowl 42  mvp winner. AS i bleed the yankee blue i love seeing boston teams lose. So i happy for our area that new york is on top again. Hopefully it will spark the yankees to win this year. I must if your gonna talk smack you better back it up and plexie did so.  Eli scammble and pass to tyree  who made a great grab in mid air was amazing. When they scored the winning touchdown it was nicee  plxie faked out the corner so nice it was the one play where  the pats brought it all  and the giants were  ready for it.

Friday’s Guest Speaker

I think that speech that was given was incredible. It made me realize how many people came together after September 11th and how no matter what field you worked in help out on ground zero. It also made me realize Father Michael Judge a great man i look up to is taking care of all the fallen fire fighters. Also his devotion in help making the world a better place for generation to come. It also means a lot to how he  help less fortunate in making there wishes come true. If i could i would reward him out standing citizen award.
